Dental Staff

Janet has lived in the Springfield area for thirty-four years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Iowa in 1987, and originally worked as a dental hygienist in Rockford, IL. When Janet and her husband Steve married they moved to Springfield, where she worked until their second child was born. After raising their seven children, Janet worked as a substitute hygienist until 2019, when she was hired at Maurer Family Dental. Janet enjoys working with patients, especially those who are anxious about dentistry. She finds it rewarding to try to help them feel at ease and welcomed. In her spare time Janet enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and watching a good movie.

Donna has been Maurer Family Dental's go-to dental assistant and front desk master since we opened in 2012. She has been in the dental field for 22 years and enjoys taking care of patients. 

Donna is married to her husband Robbie, and together they have four children and four grandchildren. She loves spending time with family, gardening, and hiking in the woods.
